Chicago-based American Mechanical Inc., a full-service mechanical contractor, announced the opening of a new fabrication facility in Gallatin. The 36-year-old business, specializing in providing industrial, institutional and commercial HVAC installations, has an annual sales volume of more than $10 million, according to a press release. Beginning with only two employees, AMI increased its Gallatin workforce to 37 employers within a month of being in the city, the release stated.
The AMI decision to base its newest fabrication facility in Gallatin was good news for city officials. Starting with two employees, after one short month in their facility, the company now employs thirty-seven workers. AMI attributes their growth to the huge boom in infrastructure and businesses in the Nashville area as well as the wealth of opportunities for growth in their industry. “We welcome American Mechanical Inc. to Gallatin,” said Mayor JoAnn Graves, “AMI’s rapid growth is indicative of the opportunities that exist in our City for businesses to grow and thrive.”
